The Princess Margaret is one of the top 5 cancer research hospitals in the world. New discoveries and innovative cancer therapies that are changing cancer care for patients globally are happening right here in Canada, at The Princess Margaret.

Marathon, Half-Marathon or Relay Participants
When participants complete their registration in The GoodLife Fitness Full Marathon, Half Marathon or Relay they may select The Princess Margaret as their charity of choice. Participants can then choose to direct their fundraising to any area at The Princess Margaret, including research, clinical areas, support groups or labs. Following registration participants will receive an email from The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation with a link to online fundraising with a username and password to log on and start their fundraising campaigns!

5K Participants - 5K Your Way Walk/Run
5K Your Way Walk/Run to Conquer Cancer is held in conjunction with The GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon in support of The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. Most of us have been touched by cancer in some way, and we believe we can make a positive impact on those living with or affected by cancer. We are working towards a future without cancer and with your help we will reach our goal.

Participants of the 5K at the Toronto Marathon can chose to be a part of the 5K Your Way Walk/Run by making The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation their charity of choice. Register for the event and raise funds online at www.5kyourway.ca. Participants may choose to support of any area at The Princess Margaret, including research, clinical areas, support groups or labs.

The 5K Your Way in support of The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation has grown since its inception in 2004. Starting with one team in its first year, the 5K Your Way has grown to over 1500 participants and over 120 teams! Funds raised have ranged from $17,000 in its first year to over 1 million dollars in 2009, making it one of the fastest growing cancer research fundraising events at The Princess Margaret.

Where Does the Money Go?
The money you raise is directed in the area at The Princess Margaret where you have requested it to go.

Funds directed towards research facilitate the development of new drugs and help develop more effective and less harmful surgical and radiation treatments that increase a patient's quality and length of life.

Supporting projects, clinics and other programs at The Princess Margaret target dollars to areas that are important and meaningful to you and your family.

Our goal is simply stated: Conquer Cancer In Our Lifetime! With your help - we will reach our goal.
